If you have a computer with a word processing package, you can quickly and easily use the find and replace method to convert your lottery number combinations. To do this you must use the “Find & Replace’ facility of any word processing programme.

Using this method is much easier and quicker than manual conversion of your lottery numbers, especially with larger systems. Provided you follow the rules carefully you will have few problems.

Step 1

  • Open your word processor programme on your computer
  • Create a document containing the combination system you wish to use
  • Save this document for future use
  • Save this original document so you can always start over again if you make a mistake. Also, preserving the original document allows you to change your lottery numbers as often as you want.

Step 2
Next enter your lottery numbers in the boxes provided – placing them under the numbers 1 to 12. Start with the lowest lottery number and continue entering to the highest lottery number. Using our two example combinations below – this would be as follows:

Step 3
Using the template you are using select (highlight) all the games to be played. If you intend to play all the game, then select all and copy.

Step 4
In your word-processor programme, open a new file, paste the lottery games you have selected from the template. Then select Edit, then Replace. Click “More” and TICK “FIND WHOLE WORDS ONLY’ It is vital you tick this box. You may need to click “more” to find this box.

Step 5
In the “Find” box, enter the last of your selected lottery numbers – that is your highest lottery number. In the”Replace With” box, enter the corresponding highest lottery number to be replaced. Select “Replace All.” When asked, “Do you want to search the rest of the document, answer ‘NO’

Step 6
Now apply the “Find and Replace” to the next two highest lottery numbers. Select “Replace All.” When asked, “Do you want to search the rest of the document, answer NO.

Step 7
Continue doing this until you have searched and replaced all your lottery numbers. Note: It is easy to keep your place – the last lottery number replaced will be highlighted in “Find & Replace”. It is absolutely essential that you work from your highest lottery numbers to the lowest, if not this method will not work. Take your time and this is a very simple exercise.

Important
If you follow the instructions exactly, this is a simple exercise. If you don’t, you will probably get in mess. For example, if you use 34 as one of your lottery numbers – it includes 3 and 4 – if you don’t tick ‘Find whole numbers only’ it will change 3, 4, and 34. Please follow the instructions carefully and you will find this is an easy exercise.
